OK, so only the barley. After having a crappy harvest for the past 4 years we finally got a good one! The Farmer grew the Barley crop to beat all Barley crops and he is stoked. All year he has been quietly watching his pride and joy grow, hoping for more rain and cheering when it came. This week it was time to reap what he'd sowed and it was perfect. 11.5bags (or 1.9 ton to the hectare) and it all went Malt. This means it's beer quality and you can ask for more than that. Shame that the buyers don't think so because they still have us over a barrel on prices but that's that rant for another day.
